The 18U AAA Titans Hockey Union delivered a commanding performance on home ice, defeating the Calgary Rockies 4-1 in a game that showcased their offensive depth and disciplined play. The Titans set the tone early when Sheldon Kucy, assisted by Rhys McLean, found the back of the net just 1:33 into the first period. Despite being outshot 9-6 in the opening frame, the Titans carried their lead into the second period where their offense truly exploded. Declan Benson scored what would prove to be the game-winning goal at 15:05 of the second period, with Kucy earning his second point of the night on the primary assist alongside Abel Fausak. Just over a minute later, Rylan Scarfe extended the lead to 3-0, capitalizing on setup work from Luc Rodrigue and Carter Rennie.
The Calgary Rockies finally broke through late in the second period when Ashton Tangedal scored with help from Seth Scutt, giving the visitors a glimmer of hope heading into the final frame. However, any momentum the Rockies might have gained was quickly extinguished in the third period as Declan Benson netted his second goal of the game at 11:39, sealing the victory for the Titans. The game featured plenty of physical play with 10 minor penalties called, including multiple roughing and hooking calls in the latter stages. Titans goaltender Ethan Cornelius turned in a solid performance between the pipes, stopping 27 of 28 shots faced, while the Titans' offense consistently pressured the Rockies net, finishing with 32 shots on goal in a complete team effort.
