The 18U AAA Langley HA squad unleashed a relentless offensive attack to defeat the Titans Hockey Union 7-3 in a game that featured plenty of scoring, penalties, and momentum swings. The Titans struck first with goals from Rylan Daley and Sheldon Kucy, but Langley responded with authority. Kaden West got Langley on the board, followed quickly by a power-play marker from Mathew Gordon. The game's physical intensity boiled over late in the first period when a four-player scrum resulted in simultaneous minors to Benjamin Gibson, Dávid Szilágyi, Luc Rodrigue, and Nolan Oxtoby, setting the tone for a chippy contest.
The second period saw the Titans briefly tie the game on a power-play goal from Rhys McLean, but Langley took control from there. Liam Keith and Owen Baker scored to give Langley a lead they would never relinquish. The middle frame was marred by a massive altercation at 14:29 that saw Owen Corscadden, Jackson Schroeder, Spencer Behnsen, and Wesley Lizotte all handed roughing minors and misconducts, effectively taking key players out of the game. Langley's power play continued to click as Baker scored late in the period to extend the lead.
Langley put the game away in the third period with Hudson Wright adding an even-strength goal before Gordon netted his second power-play goal of the night. The physical play continued as Titans' Rylan Daley received a game misconduct for an illegal check to the head. Nolan Oxtoby capped the scoring with another power-play goal in the final minute. While Titans goalie Bennett Neilson faced a barrage of 48 shots, Langley's Logan McAloney backstopped his team to victory despite the goalie stats showing zeros across the board, indicating the defensive effort in front of him was strong enough to secure the decisive win.
