The 15U AAA Titans Hockey Union and Coquitlam HC delivered a thrilling, back-and-forth contest that saw the home Titans emerge with a hard-fought 5-3 victory. The game set a physical tone early, with matching slashing minors to the Titans' Kasey Youzwa and Coquitlam's Minjun Kang just over eight minutes in. Coquitlam struck first on the ensuing open ice, as Luca Allegretto, assisted by Cohen Hicks and Yoel Moon, found the back of the net to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. The period ended with more matching minors for roughing, setting the stage for a wild middle frame.
The second period was an offensive explosion. The Titans roared back with two quick goals to seize the lead. First, Xavier Wujcik, with helpers from Carson Klassen and Lincoln Allary, tied the game. Just over five minutes later, Ty Lajeunesse, assisted by Leo Noeth, put the Titans ahead. Coquitlam's Jaxon Robinson answered immediately, scoring just 15 seconds later off a feed from Luca Allegretto to knot the game at 2-2. The Titans regained the lead before the period ended, however, as Mason Smith converted a setup from Ty Lajeunesse to make it 3-2. Titans goalie Landon Strause was a fortress in the period, turning aside all 17 Coquitlam shots to preserve the slim lead.
Coquitlam refused to go quietly in the third. Jaxon Robinson netted his second of the game, again from Cohen Hicks and Luca Allegretto, to tie the score at 3-3 and complete a three-point night for Allegretto. The game remained deadlocked until the final minutes when Titans captain Tayvin Rupp delivered the dagger. Assisted by Carson Klassen and Kasey Youzwa, Rupp scored the game-winning goal with just under five minutes to play. Eli Boddez sealed the 5-3 win with an empty-net goal in the final minutes, assisted by the dynamic Ty Lajeunesse, who finished with a goal and two helpers. Despite being outshot 36-38, the Titans capitalized on their chances, and Landon Strause's 33-save performance was the backbone of a crucial home victory.
