From the opening faceoff, it was clear that Langley HA came to play. Bryson Miller set the tone early, scoring just over three minutes into the first period with an assist from Theodore Kim. Despite being outshot 16-9 in the opening frame, Langley's Mason Guiel stood tall between the pipes, turning away every Island HC opportunity. The period saw several penalties, including two trips and a check from behind, but Langley maintained their composure and defensive structure to preserve their early lead.
The floodgates opened in the second period as Langley's offense exploded for four goals. Easton Chubaty started the scoring barrage, followed by Bryson Miller's second of the game. Noah Keith and Tanner Chahal continued the onslaught, with Chahal's goal coming off beautiful passing from Chubaty and Kanta Gojsic. Langley dominated the shot count 18-8 in the period, completely controlling the pace and territory as they built an insurmountable 5-0 lead.
The third period saw no let-up from Langley as they added five more goals to complete the rout. Xavier Wellard, Kanta Gojsic, Theodore Kim, Taishi Higaki, and Gojsic again with his second of the period all found the back of the net. The offensive chemistry was on full display with Wellard recording three assists and Hayden Laneville adding three helpers of his own. Mason Guiel completed his perfect night with 27 saves for the shutout, standing strong despite Island HC's 18-shot third period push. The comprehensive victory showcased Langley's balanced attack and impenetrable defense in a statement performance.
