The 15U AAA South Sask HC squad set the tone early in a physical contest against the Titans Hockey Union, taking control with a pair of first-period goals. Just over three minutes in, Rowen Istace opened the scoring with an even-strength tally, assisted by Nixon Adrian and Jase O'Hara. The momentum continued when Connor Hart-Livingston showcased his individual skill, netting a shorthanded goal midway through the period to give the home team a 2-0 lead. The period was marked by a parade to the penalty box, with four minors called, setting the stage for a chippy, hard-hitting affair.
The Titans fought back in the second period, with Sebastian Compri cutting the deficit to 2-1. However, South Sask HC responded quickly, as Connor Hart-Livingston struck again—this time on an even-strength play assisted by Kyllar Osberg—to restore the two-goal cushion with what would stand as the game-winning goal. The middle frame saw the physical play continue with three more minors, but South Sask's defensive structure held firm, limiting the Titans to just six shots on goalie Glenn Drummond.
A frantic third period saw the Titans push desperately to get back in the game, outshooting South Sask 15-12. Their efforts were rewarded when Kasey Youzwa scored off a feed from Tayvin Rupp to make it 3-2, putting the outcome in doubt. However, with the Titans' net empty in the final minutes, Maxwell Jameson iced the game with an empty-netter to secure the 4-2 victory for South Sask HC. Despite the lopsided final shot count in the third, Glenn Drummond stood tall in net to backstop his team to an important two points in the Junior Prospects Hockey League standings.
