The South Sask HC 15U AAA squad delivered a commanding performance on the road, overwhelming the Victoria HA 15U AAA team with a 9-2 final score. From the opening puck drop, South Sask established a relentless forecheck, outshooting their hosts 22-3 in the first period alone. The pressure paid off early as Jett Girodat, assisted by Maxwell Jameson and Tyson Tietz, opened the scoring just over five minutes into the game. Cooper Hale doubled the lead before the first intermission, with helpers from Cal Schwabe and goaltender Glenn Drummond, setting the tone for a dominant night. The second period saw the visitors pull away for good. On a power play created by a slash from Victoria's Greyson Robertson, Nixon Adrian converted a pass from Riley Ducharme and Maxwell Jameson for what would stand as the game-winning goal. Victoria showed a brief spark of life when Robertson redeemed himself with an even-strength goal, assisted by Blake Snook and Nixon Hull, and Tyler Patrick added another to make it 3-2. But South Sask quickly snuffed out any hope of a comeback, as Cooper Hale netted his second of the night to restore a two-goal cushion heading into the final frame.
The third period was all South Sask, as they poured in five more goals to turn the game into a rout. Maxwell Jameson and Braydon Wilcox each found the back of the net, with Wilcox's goal coming off a nice setup from Tyson Tietz and Kyllar Osberg. The night, however, belonged to Cooper Hale. He completed his hat trick midway through the period and then capped off a spectacular four-goal performance with a power-play marker in the final minute, assisted by Johnny Stewart and the ever-present Maxwell Jameson, who finished with a goal and three assists. Nixon Adrian also added his second of the game for South Sask, who finished with a staggering 59 shots on goal.
For Victoria, it was a long night in their own zone. Goaltender Brandon Feng faced a barrage of rubber, while his counterpart, Glenn Drummond of South Sask, had a relatively quiet evening, needing to make only 18 saves to secure the victory. The penalty kill was a particular area of struggle for the home side, conceding two power-play goals. Despite the lopsided score, Victoria's Greyson Robertson and Tyler Patrick provided the lone bright spots on the scoresheet. In the end, South Sask HC's offensive firepower, led by the dynamic duo of Cooper Hale and Maxwell Jameson, proved far too much to handle, as they skated to a decisive and impressive road win.
