From the opening puck drop, the Titans established their dominance, outshooting Okanagan 13-5 in the first period alone. Skyler Darago opened the scoring just over seven minutes into the game, setting the tone for what would become a relentless offensive display. Maddex Morris extended the lead with a power play goal later in the period, though Okanagan's Cameron Reynolds managed to answer with a power play marker of his own, assisted by Landon Jebb and Connor Steele, to keep the game within reach at 2-1 after twenty minutes.
