Kim then turned scorer himself midway through the period, finishing a setup from Hayden Laneville to give Langley a 2-0 lead they would never relinquish. The middle period saw Langley extend their lead when Kanta Gojsic found the back of the net, with Mattias Nord and Theodore Kim picking up assists.
