The 15U AAA Titans Hockey Union came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back, cruising to a decisive 7-2 victory over Coquitlam HC. The game was defined by the Titans' relentless offensive pressure, outshooting their opponents 44 to 22 over the course of the contest. Carson Klassen was the undeniable star of the show, opening the scoring with a power-play goal just 13 seconds after an early Coquitlam penalty and completing a hat trick before the second period was over. Assists from Xavier Wujcik and Easton Shewchuk were instrumental in setting up Klassen's dominant performance. While Coquitlam's Jaxon Robinson managed to answer back with a power-play goal of his own in the second period, the Titans' offense was simply too much to handle.
Penalties played a significant role in the game's flow, with both teams spending considerable time in the box. The Titans capitalized on their opportunities, scoring three power-play goals. The physical nature of the game escalated in the second period, with coincidental minors to Kasey Youzwa and Coquitlam's Dominik Udovicic highlighting the chippy play. Udovicic would find himself in the box twice more, while the Titans' Maddex Morris took a rare butt-ending double minor late in the first period. Despite these infractions, Titans goalie Landon Strause stood tall, turning away all 22 shots he faced to secure the win, while Cooper Rawson shouldered the loss for Coquitlam in a tough outing.
The third period saw the Titans put the game completely out of reach, unleashing a 19-shot barrage and netting four unanswered goals. Sebastian Compri, Ethan Kaminski, Kasey Youzwa, and Tayvin Rupp all found the back of the net, showcasing the Titans' deep and balanced scoring attack. A late even-strength goal from Coquitlam's Keegan Sabo, assisted by Oliver Deering, did little to dampen the Titans' celebration. The comprehensive victory, fueled by a hat trick from Klassen and a shut-down performance from Strause, sends a strong message to the rest of the Junior Prospects Hockey League.
