The 15U AAA Langley HA unleashed a relentless offensive attack to secure a decisive 7-1 win over the Okanagan HC. The game started with a bang as Langley's Tanner Chahal, wearing number 75, scored just one second into the first period, assisted by Noah Keith and Kanta Gojsic. However, Okanagan responded quickly, with Tyler Reszitnyk finding the net at the 6:46 mark, assisted by Brady L'Henaff, to tie the game. The period saw some early tension when Langley's Kanta Gojsic was called for tripping, but the score remained knotted at 1-1 heading into the second.
The middle frame was where Langley took complete control, outshooting Okanagan by a staggering 26-8 margin. Mattias Nord, number 16, broke the tie with the eventual game-winning goal, assisted again by the playmaking Noah Keith. The floodgates then opened as Taishi Higaki and Theodore Kim added goals to give Langley a commanding 4-1 lead after two periods. The offensive onslaught continued in the third, with Xavier Wellard, Noah Keith, and Bryson Miller all lighting the lamp. Keith, in particular, had a standout performance with a goal and two assists, while Wellard and Theodore Kim each tallied a goal and an assist in the dominant display.
Defensively, Langley was just as impressive. Goaltender Milo Cosco, backed by a stifling team effort, turned aside all but one of Okanagan's shots to earn the win. Okanagan's netminder, Tyson Magnan, faced a barrage of 48 shots and was under constant pressure as Langley's depth proved too much to handle. The game saw a few more penalties in the third period, with Okanagan's Brady L'Henaff and Sam Hopkins being sent off for hooking and high-sticking respectively, but by then the outcome was well in hand. This comprehensive victory showcased Langley's potent offense and solid team defense from start to finish.
