The Northstars came out firing on all cylinders and never looked back, delivering a masterclass performance against the Titans in a decisive 6-0 victory. From the opening puck drop, the Northstars established their offensive presence, outshooting the Titans 16-6 in the first period. The pressure paid off when Mathéo Ross, assisted by Kyle Courtney and Landen Goebel, opened the scoring midway through the period. The physicality of the game began to show as Connor Fudge took an early check from behind penalty, but the Northstars' penalty kill held firm, setting the tone for their defensive dominance throughout the contest.
The second period saw the Northstars continue to control the pace, adding to their lead with a power-play goal from Logan McMorran, set up by Linden Collins and Luke Collins. The period was marred by a significant penalty as Mathéo Ross was assessed a 2+10 minute penalty for an illegal check to the head, forcing the Northstars to kill a major penalty. Despite this, their defense, anchored by a stellar performance from goalie Owen Picken, remained impenetrable. The Titans' Bennett Tkachuk also took a boarding penalty, but they were unable to capitalize on any of their limited chances, being outshot 14-8 in the frame.
Any hope of a Titans comeback was extinguished in a dominant third period by the Northstars, who exploded for four goals. Luke Collins started the onslaught with another power-play goal, assisted by Lincoln Wigle and Ben Mitchelmore. Joseph Jones and Dominic Squires then scored even-strength goals in quick succession, both assisted by Connor Fudge, who tallied three helpers on the night. Ben Mitchelmore capped the scoring, assisted by Fudge and Wigle, completing a spectacular three-point period for Fudge. The Titans' frustration showed with tripping penalties to Hunter Leckie and Sebastien Jolicoeur Gagnon, but they were thoroughly outclassed, managing only 3 shots in the final period. Owen Picken earned a well-deserved shutout, turning away all 17 shots he faced, while the Northstars' offense fired a relentless 47 shots on the Titans' net, sealing a complete team victory.
