The 14U AAA matchup between HC Edmonton and Bow Valley HC quickly turned into a one-sided affair as Edmonton unleashed an offensive onslaught, cruising to an 8-2 victory. The game started with early special teams action as Edmonton's Trystan Tse capitalized on a power play midway through the first period, assisted by Parker Garlitos and Fionn Finley. Just minutes later, while shorthanded, Brayden Kuo extended Edmonton's lead, setting the tone for a game where Edmonton's depth would prove overwhelming. Despite Bow Valley's Brett Gach answering back early in the second period with help from Kai Lorenzo III, Edmonton responded immediately with Parker Leonhardt scoring what would stand as the game-winner, assisted by Jack Kemila and Logan Ko.
The second period was where Edmonton truly seized control, outshooting Bow Valley 17-4. Grayson Moulds, Jack Kemila, and Brett Gach (with his second of the game for Bow Valley) traded goals, but Edmonton finished the period strong with Kemila netting a power-play goal in the final minute, assisted by Brody McAuley and Parker Garlitos. The third period was a shooting gallery, with Edmonton firing an astonishing 31 shots on Bow Valley's net. Parker Garlitos, Fionn Finley, and Logan Ko all found the back of the net, with Ko's goal coming in the final seconds and remarkably assisted by his own goaltender, Jayden Gardner.
Despite a valiant effort from Bow Valley goaltender Oscar Blackmore, who faced a relentless 55-shot barrage, his team was simply overwhelmed by Edmonton's persistent attack. Edmonton's Jayden Gardner earned the win in net, turning aside all shots he faced for a shutout performance. The game was also marred by numerous penalties, including several for illegal checks to the head, with Edmonton's Parker Garlitos and Bow Valley's Sloan Kinch both receiving misconducts. In the end, HC Edmonton's offensive firepower and disciplined structure after a chippy start proved too much for Bow Valley to handle.
