Northstars Edge Island HC in Tight 14U AAA Battle

The Northstars HA came out firing in this Junior Prospects Hockey League matchup, dominating the shot clock from the opening puck drop. Their relentless pressure paid off late in the first period when Kyle Courtney buried an even-strength goal, assisted by Lincoln Wigle and Linden Collins, giving the visitors an early lead. The second period saw the game's momentum swing on special teams. Island HC's Liam McNaughton responded with a crucial shorthanded goal to tie the game, but Northstars' Logan McMorran answered right back on the power play, restoring the lead with an assist from the ever-involved Lincoln Wigle.

The third period was a dramatic back-and-forth affair.
