The Titans Hockey Union came out flying in the first period, putting early pressure on the Bow Valley HC net and building a two-goal lead. Landon Rupp opened the scoring just 10 seconds into the game, assisted by Bennett Tkachuk. The Titans doubled their advantage later in the period when Maddox Peddle found the back of the net, with Tkachuk and Brody Andruchow picking up the helpers. Despite being outshot 10-6 in the opening frame, Bow Valley's goaltender Oscar Blackmore weathered the storm, and the period ended with a flurry of minor penalties as both teams settled into a physical contest.
The momentum began to shift in the second period. Bow Valley's Levi Irwin cut the deficit in half just 44 seconds into the period, converting a setup from Brett Gach. The home team began to control the play, outshooting the Titans 11-8 in the middle frame, but Titans netminder Kolt Elanik stood tall to preserve the 2-1 lead heading into the final period. The game's turning point came in the third, as Bow Valley's offense erupted. Brett Gach tied the game early, assisted by Isla Ford and Ethan Stewart. Then, midway through the period, Kai Lorenzo III delivered the game-winner, with Brodie Breault and Matus Kudrna providing the assists.
Bow Valley sealed the victory with two more goals in the final six minutes. Brodie Breault extended the lead, again assisted by Matus Kudrna, and Kudrna capped off a three-point night with an empty-net goal, set up by Brett Gach. The third period was a dominant display by the home side, who turned a one-goal deficit into a three-goal victory, outscoring the Titans 4-0 in the final frame. While Kolt Elanik made 25 saves for the Titans in a losing effort, it was Bow Valley's relentless third-period push, led by multi-point performances from Brett Gach, Matus Kudrna, and Brodie Breault, that secured the decisive 5-2 win.
