The game was a rollercoaster from the opening faceoff, with the Titans striking first on the power play as Seth Hantelmann, assisted by Grayson Gladue and Lincoln Bartel, found the net early. The Stallions responded quickly, with Kage Grenkow tying the game before the Titans' Kade Steffler and Athan Kyle scored to build a 3-1 lead after one period, a frame dominated by the Titans' 18-shot barrage.
The second period belonged to the Stallions, who roared back with a relentless offensive push. After Shepard Lehto scored another power-play goal for the Titans, the Stallions' Cody Callison answered. Kiran George briefly restored a two-goal lead for the Titans, but then the Stallions' Jakob Pugliese took over, netting a natural hat trick with three consecutive even-strength goals, all assisted by Brady Baun and with two helpers from Kage Grenkow. In the extra session, the hero was Seth Hantelmann, who capped a fantastic three-point night by burying the game-winner, set up by Aidan Sampson and Grayson Closson. Titans goaltender Felix Rossignol weathered the storm, making 32 saves on 39 shots for the win, while Matthew Tucker of the Stallions stopped 36 of 43 in a hard-luck loss.
