The 17U AAA Titans Hockey Union built a commanding lead through two periods and weathered a furious third-period storm from Victoria HA to secure a 4-2 victory. The Titans set the tone early, outshooting Victoria 14-7 in the opening frame. Shepard Lehto got the home side on the board just 14 seconds into the game, finishing a play set up by Chayce Adams. Grayson Closson doubled the lead midway through the period, with helpers from Liam Hunter and Kayne Bennetts, giving the Titans a comfortable 2-0 cushion heading into the first intermission.
The Titans extended their lead in the second period despite being heavily outshot 20-6. Lincoln Bartel scored what would prove to be the game-winner just over a minute into the frame, assisted by Brady Critchley. Declan Benson made it 4-0 later in the period, with Grayson Closson picking up his second point of the night with an assist. The period was marred by penalties, including a simultaneous slash from Victoria's Ryder Rendle and a roughing call on the Titans' Grayson Gladue, but the Titans' defense and goaltender Felix Rossignol stood tall to preserve the shutout through forty minutes.
Victoria HA refused to go quietly, unleashing a relentless 17-shot attack in the third period. Jacob Heinonen finally solved Rossignol, breaking the shutout bid with assists from Reggie Lott and Linden Alsdorf. With just 25 seconds remaining, Reggie Lott scored himself, converting passes from Haze Helle and Blake Sanderson to cut the deficit to 4-2. The late push created a tense finish, but the Titans' early offensive explosion and Rossignol's 30-save performance proved insurmountable. Despite the lopsided 44-32 shot advantage for Victoria, the Titans' efficiency and strong start carried the day.
