Howling as a Team

The contest featured more turns than a maze, with both teams leading at different points.

The Wolves have now won three in a row.
18U Langley Hockey Academy
Facing Adversity
Despite an opening tournament loss to Titans Hockey Union, Langley Hockey Academy reeled off four straight wins to claim the Jaxon Joseph Memorial Tournament.
Langley defeated Bow Valley in the title game, but had to run the table to reach that point.
They wrapped up the round robin with a win over Surrey Eagles Hockey Academy, and edged HC Edmonton in the quarter-final thanks to an overtime goal from Sevak Gill, the co-leader in points of the tournament.
LHA outlasted Island in the semi-final with Gill sealing the deal into an empty net, and he scored a big goal, while also setting up another in the championship game.
18U HC Edmonton
Brick Wall Kade
Despite not reaching the championship game, HC Edmonton’s Kade Swanson was excellent in goal.
Posting a 2-0 record with a 1.46 GAA and a .930 save percentage, stopping 40 of 43 shots he faced.
Swanson stared down the Titans Hockey Union in a 2-1 overtime victory, kicking out 11 shots in the third and overtime period.
The goaltender then locked the door against Kootenay, down 2-0; he shutout KHA from there until the Edmonton offence got in gear.
Swanson is 6-0 in the regular season with a shutout.
